Course Enrollment

Course enrollment is completed over two rounds. The first round will be in August whilst the second in September.

HUFS will send information and instructions on course enrollment. Using the available course listing, students must prepare a well-planned study plan and confirm with their home university advisor/coordinator. Please note that it is critically important for students to prepare and revise a back up plan in the case of not being able to enroll in first-choice courses. Course enrollment in Korea is very competitive so we strongly advise students to be well prepared and have access to a computer (not a phone or tablet/iPad) during the enrollment period.

Course Drop Period

During this week, students will be able to drop unwanted courses. This will be the only time when students will be able to drop courses. The Intensive Korean Program cannot be dropped during this period.

*Please keep in mind that graduate-level courses cannot be dropped once enrolled.

*Please check 4. Course Information > b. How to Register for more information on course enrollment for graduate programs.

*Please check 4. Course Information > b. How to Register for more information on course enrollment for graduate programs.

*The Intensive Korean Program CANNOT be enrolled for during this round. All enrollments for this program must be made during the application period.

Residence Card (RC) Application

All international students must apply for a Residence Card upon arrival in Korea. This card is an identification card issued to all international students during their term of study in Korea and must be kept with students at all times. The visa you use to enter Korea (D-2-6/D-2-8) is just a temporary entry ticket into Korea. Once students have the RC, they are eligible for multiple entries into Korea.

*Please check 3. Student Visa > b. Residence Card for more information.

Note: 1. Only for students taking the Intensive Korean Program.

 2. The test schedule is subject to change and students will be notified.
